The Moriston RiverThe small village of Invermoriston is situated just above the south end of Loch Ness, in the heart of the Great Glen. The 73-mile long walking path The Great Glen Way passes through the village, and is just one of the many trails and walks awaiting visitors to this peaceful spot.


Following the main road close to the village takes you to the mystical Isle of Skye, or of course you could stay closer to home and do some Monster-spotting, visit the impressive ruins of the 16th century castle Urquhart, or enjoy the Loch Ness Exhibition Centre.
